Estimated Costs:
UM-St. Louis students will pay UMSL tuition plus the fees listed below (not the program fee posted on Bremen's website) and earn three to six credits, depending on the program.

1 Educational fees and IT fees are based on 3 or 6 credit hours. Non-resident fees may apply.
2 Accommodation available in private room, shared flat, dormitory, or single apartment. Price includes bedding. Additional housing options are available for additional costs. Please see the Bremen International Summer School website.
3 It will vary by student depending on personal spending habits. Participants arrange for their own meals during the summer school session. After arrival you will receive information about well-priced possibilities to eat (student cafeteria). The cafeteria will be open from Monday till Friday from 8.30 h – 15.30 h. There you can have breakfast, have a coffee or tea and get lunch. Lunch prices are about 4 Euro. As a participant of the International Summer School you can purchase a reduced monthly transportation pass for 50 EUROS.

5 Please note that expenses are ESTIMATES. Costs vary depending on the exchange rate, the inflation rate, individual spending habits, and amount of extra travel. The cost estimate above does not include independent travel, which can vary widely from student to student.

Mandatory Pre-Departure Orientation:
All UM-St. Louis students who study abroad are required to attend pre-departure orientation. This session will cover registration and financial aid, credit transfer, travel, health and safety topics, culture shock, and much more. Details and location.
