United Nations Day Contest

Established to raise awareness of the establishment of United Nations Day (October 24) as a global holiday, this contest is typically held in the fall.

  • Three categories, three scholarship prizes in each category
  • The three categories are essay, web design and artwork
  • Scholarships: 1st place - $2,000; 2nd place - $1,000; 3rd place - $500

International Photo Contest

The International Photo Contest is an opportunity for UMSL students, faculty, and staff to share original photography taken outside the United States. Entries are judged on the quality of the image, artistic expressiveness, and creativity. Judges also reserve the right to consider geographic and thematic variety, as well as relevance to the mission of International Studies and Programs, in selecting the winners. This contest is typically held in the spring.

International Education Week is an opportunity to celebrate international education and study abroad worldwide. This joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education promotes programs highlighting both Study Abroad and International Education in the United States.

Conferences, Lectures and Seminars are hosted throughout the year by UMSL Global, university and community partners.

All vehicles parked on the University of Missouri-St. Louis campus, Monday through Friday, require a parking permit, which can be sent to you via email.
