The RWC offers a wide variety of fee based programs.  The classes that are offered as fee based programs are progressive and provide personal enrichment, training, and skill building.  Each participant can enjoy a smaller class setting and more individual attention from the instructor.  Each instructor is certified within their discipline and has years of experience. 

Try adding some flare to your workouts! Certified personal trainer, Tanya Isaac, will introduce some new exercises into you routine.

What is the best practice for you?  Come explore helpful tips on both practices and try out two forms of meditation: the art of bringing your complete focus to one thing. Practice two forms of mindfulness: paying attention on purpose, in the present moment, without judgement. Come, explore and enjoy your beautiful mind while stretching your body in a gentle yoga practice complete with guided relaxation.

Want a workout program designed for you, but don’t have time to meet with a personal trainer every week? The Healthy Weight Management program will allow you to work out around your schedule with a workout program that was designed to meet your goals. 

This course will introduce the fundamentals of healthy living. Whether you’re looking to start your journey or continue to advance your health, our trainers can help

Program includes: 
- 30 minute consultation
- 6 week workout program
- 2 body composition assessments

Want to lift more weights but feel uncomfortable or unsure of what to do in the weight room? This course is for you.  A Certified Personal Trainer will teach you how to use various pieces of equipment in the fitness center to increase strength and reach your fitness goals.  This course will allow participants to learn effective fitness goal setting while teaching them how to create and begin their own resistance training program. This class will meet on the fitness floor.

If you’re interested in becoming a Personal Trainer, then the Personal Trainer Development Course is for you. This course will include lectures discussing basic anatomy and physiology and provide you with hands on experience necessary for training clients.

Registration opens for Fall Session 1 on August 1, 2018. Registration is required for fee based programs and the classes are open to students, members, and nonmembers.  Enrollment for each class closes 72 hours before the classes scheduled first session. You can register online or with Member Services in the Recreation and Wellness Center. If you do not have an online account, please click here for instructions on setting up your account. 

Refunds are not given for Fee Based Programs, unless the class is canceled. Please contact us if you have an emergency situation and would like refund consideration.
