The Focus on Teaching and Technology Conference (FTTC) is a Midwest regional conference focused on bringing together faculty and staff involved in course and curriculum development or academic technology support. Our mission is to provide an environment to share innovative ideas, leverage technology, and learn collaboratively across disciplines and institutions. FTTC aims to take advantage of the best of an online and in-person conference and reach the ever-changing needs of a varied audience base by alternating modalities each year. In our in-person years, we will house workshops, interactive and engaging sessions, and lots of reflective and fun opportunities, including our in-person Exhibit Hall! Each format offers an amazing opportunity for higher education faculty, administrators, staff, and students. Whether the roles of attendees involve course and curriculum development or academic technology support, FTTC provides a place to share and learn collaboratively. In addition, the conference offers a dynamic keynote speaker, faculty innovation idea-sharing, technology workshops, and vendor presentations. Our program evolves each year to reflect emerging trends in technology applications in higher education and shared expertise in online teaching experiences and strategies. For 2026, the conference will be held virtually. Planning is underway, so check back soon for announcements and updates!
