To date, the Faculty Extra Compensation Taskforce has examined relevant UM System and UMSL policies, talked with various campus representatives and administrators, and explored ways to enhance equity, improve consistency, and strengthen transparency with respect to faculty extra compensation.

At this time we are seeking feedback from UMSL faculty as part of our process to draft appropriate recommendations regarding extra compensation for instructional activities, including teaching on an overload during the 9-month academic year, summer teaching, and other activities.
