ABSTRACT: Collection of annotated vernacular stereoviews of Missouri.
SCOPE: These vernacular stereoview cards depict scenes throughout Missouri in the 1920’s including a family camping trip at Bennett Spring, a day at Shaw’s Garden in St. Louis, a family fishing along the Niangua River, a St. Louis streetscape, and views of a lead mine in Joplin. Many of the cards have penciled annotations on the verso identifying the location and subjects of the photographs.

ACCESS: This is collection P-096. This collection is available for on-site use only in the Rare Book and Manuscripts Reading Room. Some of the collection may be photocopied, digitally scanned or photographed, depending on condition. Researchers are advised to call ahead concerning changes in hours due to University intersessions and holidays.
