ABSTRACT: Report by a St. Louis Coroner, 1831.

SCOPE: This collection consists of an early coroner’s report from St. Louis, Missouri. The document, dated January 31, 1831, includes a list of jurors involved in an inquest into the death of James Wade. The report was compiled by Coroner John Bobb and concludes that Wade “died by visitation of Providence.”
