Julie Dunn-Morton
Julie Dunn-Morton received her B.A. in Art History from the University of Missouri – St. Louis. She completed her M.A. and Ph.D. at the University of Delaware with a thesis on Harriet Hosmer and a dissertation on art patronage and the museum movement in St. Louis. After serving as Docent and Tour Programs Manager at the Delaware Art Museum, Julie joined the Mercantile staff in 2002 where she has continued her research into Missouri artists, 19th-century landscape painting, as well as a catalog raisonné of the works of Frederick Oakes Sylvester.
