Dat Le is a Business Support Specialist I for the College of Education at the University of Missouri St. Louis, a position he has held since early 2022. He assists the faculty and staff of the COE with a wide range of procurement and financial services. These include the purchasing of supplies, assets, and educational resources, as well as the processing of various expense reports. In addition, Dat is the primary contact for travel arrangements, room reservations, and mail and package deliveries. Prior to his role at the COE, Dat served as Ticket Office Supervisor for the Touhill Performing Arts Center.
Dat began his journey at UMSL in Fall 2016 as a student of Anthropology and Japanese language and culture. He is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Economics through the 2+3 BS/MA dual degree program. Among his academic achievements, Dat has been a recipient of the UMSL Chancellor's scholarship, Missouri Bright Flight scholarship, Honors College scholarship, Sharon G. Levin Economics scholarship, and Friedrich Hayek Economics scholarship.
Dat's hobbies and interests include video games, esports, anime, boba milk tea, and Korean popular music and choreography. He has been a member of KHAOS, UMSL's K-pop dance group, since 2017. As a dancer and choreography coordinator, Dat has performed with KHAOS at numerous campus events, annual showcases, and regional competitions.
