Eric Hucker specializes in assisting working professionals in transitioning to education careers. As a program coordinator, he supports prospective and current participants throughout their journey, from initial eligibility checks to final teacher certification. He provides personalized guidance, manages the administrative and compliance aspects of candidate applications, and oversees progress to ensure timely and accurate credentialing.
Before joining UMSL, Eric Hucker spent nine years as a social studies teacher, covering grades 7-12 in three different school districts: Normandy Schools Collaborative, Jefferson City Schools, and the Ritenour School District. His teaching portfolio includes American History, World History, APUSH, Latin American History, and Law.
