Samanntha Davis supports prospective and current candidates in the Teach in Residency Program by providing guidance throughout the certification process. As a Support Coordinator, she assists candidates with program requirements, certification milestones, residency placement, and resources to help them successfully transition into the teaching profession.
Before joining UMSL, Sam spent more than 10 years as an elementary educator and Learning Specialist, serving students in Pre-K through fifth grade. She holds a master's degree in Reading Instruction and Coaching and was recognized as Teacher of the Year. Her professional interests include classroom management, building strong classroom routines, fostering positive relationships, and mentoring educators to create engaging, supportive learning environments.
