Pamela Blair-Bruce serves as the Director and Clinical Educator for the Bachelor of Educational Studies (BES) Program at UMSL’s College of Education, where she has been empowering future educators since 2011. Her work centers on preparing students to teach and lead beyond traditional classroom settings, with emphasis areas including Parks & Museums, Early Childhood, Youth & Adult Development, and Exercise Science & Wellness.
Pamela teaches undergraduate courses and oversees BES student internships, guiding students as they connect academic theory to hands-on, real-world impact. Her leadership ensures that BES students graduate with both the knowledge and experience to thrive in diverse educational environments.
Her approach to education is rooted in inquiry, inclusion, and sustainability, and she is known for designing systems that support both student success and staff empowerment. Pamela holds a B.A. in Elementary Education, an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction, and a PhD in Teaching and Learning Processes with a concentration in Heritage Leadership for Sustainability, Social Justice, and Participatory Culture.
