Allison Antink-Meyer, E. Desmond Lee Endowed Professor in Science Education. Her research focuses on how science, engineering, and sustainability are represented and taken up by children, teachers, and families in preK-12 formal and informal STEM spaces. She joins the Department of Educator Preparation and Leadership after serving as a faculty member and School Associate Director at Illinois State University for 13 years. She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from DePaul University and a Ph.D. in Science Education from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago. Allison is an NSF-funded STEM education researcher and former high school chemistry teacher.
