UMSL Optometry New Academic Space

We are happy to announce the academic components of the College of Optometry will be moving to a renovated JC Penney Building on North Campus next summer. The new location will provide students with easier access to campus resources including the libraries, UMSL Recreation and Wellness Center, Millennium Student Center, the Registrar and Student Financial Services.

The renovations will provide more than 31,000 square feet of dedicated and deliberate spaces for student study and collaboration, classroom instruction, lab work and research supporting contemporary and rigorous learning experiences. The renovations include the creation of: three large state-of-the-art hy-flex (hybrid flexible) classrooms, a Student Services Suite, a new optics lab, a new anatomy lab and a research and flex lab.
