Admission Requirements
The UMSL Online MBA program takes a holistic approach when evaluating student applications. Grade point average (GPA) and professional experience are all considered when making an admissions decision. To be eligible to apply, an applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and show high promise of academic success.
Applicants with a 3.0 GPA or higher (on a 4.0 scale) qualify for regular admission. Students may be admitted on a restricted status if their GPA is slightly below 3.0.

Graduate Application Checklist
Note: The Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) is not required for admission to the MBA program.
Prerequisites
As a prerequisite to the program, all prospective Online MBA students are expected to have a foundation in microeconomics, macroeconomics, and business statistics. If a student has completed equivalent undergraduate courses, both program prerequisites may be waived. If prerequisites are needed, students will complete a 3-week, 100% asynchronous online boot camp in economics and/or statistics prior to program start or during the program. Bootcamps are offered in January, June and August every year. In 2024, boot camps are offered January 2 - January 23, June 3 - June 24, and July 29 - August 19.
Plan of study
Non-Missouri Residents: Prospective students are responsible for reviewing the NC-SARA state authorizations page to see if this program is offered in their state throughout their program and to review the licensure or certification requirements for the state in which they reside.
The Online MBA cost is all-inclusive, regardless of residency. The program cost per credit hour is $1,050. This price includes all tuition, fees, books, and professional development experiences.

**If prerequisite "boot camps" are required, the College of Business Administration offers boot camp options for $750 per course. For the Online MBA, you may need up to two (2) boot camp courses. Please contact us to determine eligibility for boot camps/waivers.
