Ellie Lyne

Ellie is a PhD student in the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice at UMSL. She holds bachelor's degrees in Criminology & Criminal Justice and Psychology from Marquette University. Prior to joining the doctoral program in 2021, Ellie worked as a Court Operations Associate in the State of Minnesota District Courts. Her research interests include Courts, judicial decision-making, case outcomes, gender, LGBTQ+ communities, and virtual technology. Her current dissertation works assesses gender and custody requests with respect to civil protection order outcomes.
