The Graduate Certificate in Business Intelligence

The Graduate Certificate in Business Intelligence is a unique 12-credit-hour program that can be completed in as few as two semesters (taking 6 credit hours per semester) or up to four semesters (taking 3 credit hours per semester). It is designed for those aspiring for careers in business intelligence, data analytics, artificial intelligence, and IT and for mid-level professionals who want to learn skills in data-driven business decision making. In addition, this certificate program fulfills 4 course requirements for the MS in Information Systems and Technology, so it’s a great way to build knowledge and credentials while considering further graduate studies.

Throughout the program, students gain skills in data programming, decision support systems, data warehouse design and implementation, data integration, artificial intelligence applications, business analytics, data mining and management science. Upon completing the certificate, students are able to apply contemporary data programming techniques, structure and visualize data in useful and usable formats for business insights, utilize business intelligence technologies to provide historical, descriptive, predictive and prescriptive views of business operations, and communicate business intelligence insights to stakeholders.
