Professor Mäkeläinen is a Professor of International Marketing at Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences in Finland. He has a Lic. Tech. degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Lappeenranta University of Technology. In addition to his work at Seinäjoki University, he also teaches at California Polytechnic State University and other universities in Europe as a visiting professor in International Marketing. Professor Mäkeläinen is fluent in Finnish, English, German, Spanish and Swedish. He teaches business-to-business marketing at UMSL.
Dr. Ke is a Professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management at National Chin-Yi University of Technology in Taiwan. She received her Ph.D. in Business Administration from National Taiwan University of Science and Technology. Her research interests are market microstructure, behavioral finance, corporate finance, financial economics and investment. She has engaged in several projects funded by National Science Council of Taiwan in topics related to the Taiwan Stock Exchange.
Jian-Hsin Chou, Ph.D., National Kaohsiung First University of Science and Technology, Taiwan
Dr. Chou is a Professor in the Department of Risk Management and Insurance at the College of Business Administration at National Kaohsiung First University of Science and Technology in Taiwan. He earned his Ph.D. in Business Administration from National Taiwan University of Science and Technology. His research interests are bond markets, term structure of interest rates, future markets, and security markets and portfolio management. He has done several projects funded by National Science Council of Taiwan in topics related to financial derivatives tools.
