Tim Murnin

Tim Murnin is director of Supply Chain Strategy and Operations in Supplier Management for Boeing Defense, Space & Security. Murnin and his team drive to create and capture new value in the supply chain, raise supply chain performance levels, drive new insights from data analytics, and implement world- class supply chain systems for Boeing Defense.

Prior to this role, Murnin was director of Global Strategic Partnerships for Boeing Military Aircraft. In this role, he led the strategy and development of a significant joint venture in India between Boeing and Tata Advanced Systems.

Murnin previously served as director of Supply Chain Management for the Boeing Training Systems & Government Services organization, where he set direction for supply chain strategy, managed distribution and warehousing operations, and oversaw all technology investments in the supply chain management function.

Additionally, Murnin served as director of Supply Support where he was responsible for all forecasting, inventory management, and logistics policies and practices for the Global Services & Support division.

Before joining The Boeing Company in July 2006, Murnin was a consulting practice manager for Salesforce.com, in addition to other leadership roles, such as director of Consulting Services for Manugistics Inc., focusing on the supply chains of consumer goods and retail companies such as Kraft Foods, Tyson Foods, and Philip Morris USA. Murnin also served as a principal consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers and as manager of Supply Chain Consulting with TLB Supply Chain Solutions in Cape Town, South Africa.

Murnin holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Saint Louis University and an MBA from Harvard University.
