Joe Freund is a Senior Financial Analyst in the financial planning and analysis team at ConAgra Foods, Inc. Prior to his current role he has held positions in external financial reporting, internal audit, and public accounting where he started his career in the financial services practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Joe received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Finance & Banking from the University of Missouri - Columbia, a Master of Accounting from the University of Missouri - St. Louis, and a Master of Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
Joe has served and continues to serve on a number of boards and committees. He is on the University of Missouri – St. Louis College of Business Alumni Board where he has been the President and Vice-President. Joe is the Campaign Treasurer for Missouri State Representative Shamed Dogan. He is on the Finance committee for his church, the Church of St. Michael and St. George, and is the past President, Vice-President, and Treasurer for the Phi Kappa Psi St. Louis Alumni Association.
In 2008 he received the College of Business Outstanding Volunteer Award from the University of Missouri - St. Louis and in 2014 he received the Alumni of the Year Award from the Phi Kappa Psi St. Louis Alumni Association. Joe, a native of St. Louis, enjoys golf, tennis, skiing, and volunteering for political campaigns at the local, state, and national levels.
