Public Affairs and Economic Development has two separate but complimentary functions.
The Public Affairs responsibilities include shaping campus posture in the public sector and facilitating the campus community's interaction with our community. The University Missouri mission statement and the UM-St. Louis Master Plan charged the campus with support for economic development in our region.
