Our combined efforts make a real difference in our community.

Creating Healthier Community (CHC), formerly Community Health Charities, is a catalyst for good health, bringing communities, nonprofits, and businesses together around a shared commitment to better health and wellbeing working to address the barriers to good health and equity and create resilient communities where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

Creating Healthier Communities

The United Way of Greater St. Louis (UW-STL) raises funds to support more than 160 health and human service agenciesto serve 1 million people in our region each year. United Way agencies strengthen families, provide job counseling and training, offer affordable childcare, help the elderly, and more. The United Way supports a strong safety net of nonprofits to meet the vast needs of our community so our neighbors always have a place to turn for help.
