Spencer Ivy is Assistant Teaching Professor at the University of Missouri, St. Louis. He received his PhD in Philosophy from the University of Utah in the Spring of 2023 and works primarily in the philosophy of perception, action, and cognitive science. His research includes work on creative automaticity, perceptual expertise, and the interactions of motor control with multisensory perception. In his off time, he loves adventuring outdoors: skiing in between trees, climbing up big rocks, and backpacking through the wilderness.
