Louie's Closet free clothing resource

Welcome to Louie's Closet, the free on-campus clothing resource.

Louie's Closet is a clothing and accessory service. The Office of Student involvement also holds a physical room space available for any student, faculty, or staff to use during operating hours. Equipped with a clothing closet, reading library, hygiene products, study table, and napping spot, this is a private space for you to use!

All art work and clothing is donated by UMSL students, staff, and alumni.

Where to find Us

Catch us at the thrifting pop-ups at The Nosh once a month to donate items or to collect a new wardrobe. No questions, no limit, bags provided. In partnership with Career Services and Triton Parent Success, pop ups also provide adult business wear and children's clothing. Pop-ups are hosted for 3 hours during peak hours.

Each month brings a fresh inventory of items to look through based on campus activity and general weather. Below is the Fall Semester line up for your thrifting experience:

August - UMSL gear

September - Summer clothing, shorts, and T-shirts

October - Fall clothing and business wear

November - Bottoms and pants

December - Winter coats, jackets, and winter gear
