The UMSL housing application is completed and submitted online. You will need your SSO ID and password to apply, and you must have been admitted to the university for at least three days before applying. Housing applications are now open. Please make sure you are choosing the correct application - the AY 2026-2027 Application is for students looking for housing to begin in Fall 2026. The Spring 2026 Only application should be used by students looking to move into Oak Hall for this current spring semester.
Please note: There is a $60 non-refundable application fee which will be charged to your student account when applying for housing. This charge is not due at the time of completing the application, and instead may be paid with all other tuition and fees on the billing schedule as outlined by Student Financial Services.
