  • Start your UMSL journey with a warm welcome—airport pickup is available for international students living in Oak Hall or University Meadows; be sure to request your ride by August 13, 2025.

  • Kick off your Global Triton Welcome experience with an energizing day of warm welcomes, and essential sessions that will set you up for success at UMSL and life in the United States.
Global Triton Welcome Day Two

Schedule varies by individual student
Tuesday, August 18 | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Today is all about taking care of the essentials—submit your immigration documents, complete placement testing, join special info sessions, and hop on the free shopping shuttle to get everything you need to settle in.
Global Triton Welcome Day Three

Mandatory and compulsory for all new international students
Wednesday, August 19 | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Day three includes expert tips on managing your student account, staying in legal status, and getting involved on campus, as well as lunch featuring a very special guest!
Global Triton Welcome Day Four

Schedule varies by individual student
Thursday, August 20 | 9:00 AM – 10:00 PM

  • Today is the day to meet with advisors, register for classes, set up your bank account, drop off your health documents, and take part in the mandatory New Student Programs Orientation.
Global Triton Welcome Day Five

Mandatory and compulsory for all new international students
Friday, August 21 | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Today brings our newest Tritons—both international and domestic—together for required Orientation sessions and New Student Convocation, marking your official welcome to UMSL and the beginning of something extraordinary.
