The Mark Twain Building and adjoining athletic facilities have hosted sporting events, career fairs, commencements, certification classes, and more. The Mark Twain Building is home to Chuck Smith Court and balconies, the UMSL Swimming Pool, and a number of classrooms and meeting spaces. The UMSL Baseball Field and UMSL Softball Field are also located on UMSL’s main campus.

- We allow rentals of the basketball court, softball field, baseball field, classrooms, balconies, and pool. A limited number of tables and chairs are available in the facility before needing to rent tables and chairs. We have audio capabilities on the court, balconies, softball field, and baseball field. We have A/V capabilities in classroom 218.

- Graduation specific capacities are 500 graduates and 3400 person capacity.
