Looking to switch up your climbing routine? Join us for the following Special Events at the Climbing Center.
Join us at the Recreation and Wellness Center's Climbing Wall for our learn to climb event!  This will be a time for new and beginner climbers to come and get a sense of what the climbing wall is all about.  We will be teaching you about the wall and helping you take your first steps in climbing!  It will be a chance to learn, ask questions, and find your groove at the wall.

Come try your hands (and feet) at our crate stacking challenge!! While being harnessed to our 2-story tall climbing wall, see how many milk crates you can stack and climb! All skill levels welcome to try and test out your abilities. Bring your friends and have a little competition!

If you stack the most crates in the evening you will receive an intramural championship t-shirt! Participating also will allow you to get the chance to be part of our Climbing Wall Crate Stacking Hall of Fame.

We will be teaching individuals how to belay on our climbing wall in addition to certifying them! Individuals interested in belay certification need to have climbed on our wall for at least one semester to be eligible.
