Check your transfer courses against the Course Equivalencies in Transferology

Attend Transfer Student Orientation

Check your UMSL email account daily

Meet with your advisor at least once each semester

Learn the degree requirements for your major

Submit transcripts with final grades and associate degrees posted

See how your credits transferred and check your progress towards your degree ( MyDegree)

Follow the developmental checklist for your “year”

Complete your Math Proficiency Test and enroll for Math requirement if you didn’t earn transfer credit

Enroll in First Year Writing if you didn’t earn transfer credit

Attend the Major/Minor Jam

Attend meetings for student organizations that interest you

Use the support services that can help you succeed inside and outside of your classes
