Terry Freerks, BA 1977, MEd 1979, is the executive director emeritus of the Clayton Shaw Park Swimming Team and is retired from private counseling practice. After completing her degrees at UMSL, she earned a PhD from Saint Louis University. In addition to her involvement with the UMSL Alumni Association, Terry is a member of the UMSL Chancellor’s Council, the chair of the UMSL Athletics Council, and the former chair of the UMSL College of Arts and Sciences Leadership Council. She is married to UMSL alumnus Stan Freerks, MBA 1992. She enjoys traveling, volunteering, swimming and spending time with family and friends.
