Eyes on Diversity The College’s inaugural Eyes on Diversity program invited minority high school juniors and seniors to get a first-hand look at optometry as a potential career path. In addition to classroom presentations introducing visual acuity, color vision, and stereopsis, the four-Saturday series included an opportunity to dissect a cow eyeball, a field trip to shadow a local African American optometrist, and discussions of diversity and leadership training. |
