UMSL is located off I-70 at Exit 240 (Florissant Rd./University Blvd.), approximately 20 minutes from Downtown St. Louis.

The Advanced Workforce Center (AWC) is located on the North Campus inside the J.C. Penney Building, indicated by the arrow on the map.

Driving Directions
Traveling EAST on I-70:
  1. Exit I-70 at Exit 240 (University Boulevard).
  2. Turn right and continue for approximately ½ mile through the traffic light.
  3. At the intersection of University Blvd. and Bellerive Dr., turn right.
  4. Continue to the first stop sign. The J.C. Penney Building will be on your left shortly after passing the Millennium Student Center.
Traveling WEST on I-70:
  1. Exit I-70 at Exit 240 (University Boulevard).
  2. Bear left at the split, then turn left at the base of the ramp.
  3. Continue approximately ½ mile through the traffic light to the intersection of University Blvd. and Bellerive Dr.
  4. Turn right, then continue to the first stop sign.
Traveling NORTH or SOUTH on I-170:
  1. Exit at Natural Bridge Rd. (Exit 6) and turn east.
  2. Continue ~1.5 miles and turn left onto North Campus. Follow signs to the J.C. Penney Building.
Traveling on I-270:
  • From I-270, take I-170 South and follow the directions above.
  • From I-64/Hwy 40, travel north on I-170 and follow the same directions.
