UMSL provides many opportunities for undergraduates to participate in exciting activities outside the classroom that can enrich their learning and professional development in conducting research, participating in internships, and designing and developing creative projects.

Undergraduate Research Symposium 2019

The URS is open to all undergraduate students enrolled and doing undergraduate research during the Fall 2018 or Spring 2019 term. Applying to participate in the URS is a three-step process:

  • Complete the form below to indicate your intent to participate by 3/1/19.
  • An URS Committee Member will contact you by email to confirm your participation; your faculty mentor will be copied on this message. You will also be invited to participate in an optional abstract/poster preparation session.
  • Submit your final abstract (or project description) by 4/09/19 for final review and printing in our program. Faculty mentors will have a final review option for all abstracts.
