Staff Council Connect

The UMSL Staff Association exists to foster unity, advocate for improved working conditions and benefits, and maintain open communication between staff and university leadership.
The Staff Association includes all benefits-eligible administrative, service, and support staff at UMSL with a full-time equivalence of 75% or more. All members have full voting rights within the Staff Association.
Your interests are represented by the Staff Council, a body of 25 elected staff members, including officers and campus committee representatives.
Come meet the colleagues representing you across campus, share your ideas, ask questions, and learn how Staff Council is putting your voice into action at UMSL.
Staff Council members will be available at 9–12 locations across North and South Campus on September 8 and October 13 from 2:00 – 3:30 p.m. Specific location details will be shared soon.

2026 - 2027 Staff Associations Meetings
All benefits-eligible staff of the University of Missouri–St. Louis who have a full-time equivalence of 75% or more, will be considered a member of the Staff Association.
2026-2027 Staff Association Meetings have not yet been scheduled. We anticipate holding one Staff Association Meeting in during the fall semester and two meetings during the spring semester.
Staff will receive further information once these meetings have been scheduled.
