Application Questions: Year 2 Cohort - 2026-2027

Application Preview

Thank you for your interest in applying to the Civic Collaboration Fellows program. This page is intended to provide a preview of the questions on the application form. Please review the questions before beginning your application. The application form will save your progress, but you may consider writing your responses separately before beginning the application to avoid potential technical issues. Additionally, please thoroughly review the program dates with your family, work, and other commitments to ensure your availability throughout the cohort year.

Background, Experience, and Interest Questions

  1. Please list all of your relevant current business and organizational affiliations.
  2. Briefly describe three (3) successful or in-progress collaborations with which you have been involved.
  3. What motivates you to apply to the Civic Collaboration Fellows program?
  4. How has your community and economic development experience impacted economic mobility in the St. Louis region?
  5. Is there anything more that you want to share about your experience that would benefit this Cohort?
  6. Collaboration beyond the Civic Collaboration Fellows Cohort is a critical component of the program. Name five (5) current members of your Civic Network who ideally will have varied Social Capital and Social Assets (such as neighborhood associations, business groups, etc.).
    • If chosen for an interview, each of your 5 Civic Network members will be asked to complete a reference form by August 5, 2026 attesting to your collaborative experience and abilities as well as share their level of commitment to participate in the Economic Mobility Initiative phase of the fellowship.
      • At this time, you will be asked to list each of the five Civic Network members’ names and organizational affiliations. Upon interview selection, we will ask you to send us their email addresses so we can email them the reference form on your behalf. Please notify your Civic Network members now as all references will need to be completed to proceed to the interview phase.
