Registration
Launch students can register the Advanced Credit Program by following the link to the application portal below. For additional guidance on the registration process, see the ACP/Launch Registration Tutorial.
Register for the Advanced Credit Program/Launch!
ATTENTION: This portal is for students taking an online course through Launch Virtual Learning. If registering for a course taught in-person at your high school, click here to be redirected to the main ACP registration page.
Registration is not complete until both occur:
-
The student completes the application and selects their courses.
-
A parent/guardian approves the student's enrollment.
Students who fail to register during the appropriate registration period forfeit the opportunity to earn college credit for eligible courses. It is the responsibility of the student and their parent/guardian to ensure proper registration.

Late Applications
In general, late applications are not accepted. Exceptions are limited to students with significant extenuating circumstances that prohibited them from registering by the deadline. Launch students who believe they fit within this category should immediately contact the Advanced Credit Program. The ACP reserves the right to reject applications whose lateness is not adequately explained by the given circumstances. Further, the ACP is unable to accommodate any applications received more than a month after registration closes.
Frequently Asked Questions
Students only need to register once per UMSL course.
Some year-long high school classes are equivalent to one UMSL course. For example, a full year of high school Spanish 3 will likely be equivalent to UMSL Spanish 1001. In this case, students only need to register once in Fall to receive credit for both semesters.
Other year-long high school classes are equivalent to two UMSL courses. For example, a full year of US History may be equivalent to UMSL HIST 1001 and 1002. In this case, students would have to register for HIST 1001 in Fall and HIST 1002 in Spring to receive credit for both semesters.
If you have registered with the ACP before, you are likely receiving this message because you are entering different information than what you entered the first time you registered. Returning students must sign into the ACP application portal using the exact same name and email they used in prior semesters. To ensure consistency, always use your full legal name. If you do not remember what information you used originally, contact the ACP office at acp@umsl.edu or 314-516-7005.
If you have not registered with us before and are receiving this message, it is most likely a system error. Contact the ACP office at acp@umsl.edu or 314-516-7005.
After registration closes, enrolled students will receive a confirmation email welcoming them to the program. This message will include students' 8-digit UMSL ID number, which is necessary to pay tuition, request transcripts, and access various UMSL resources. Students will receive additional communication throughout the course to remind them of upcoming deadlines.
If you have your 8-digit UMSL ID number, you can log into your MyView student account to view your UMSL enrollments. We recommend logging into MyView at least once at the start of the year to confirm that you are enrolled in the correct courses. For more information, see MyView Access.
