The UMSL School of Engineering is committed to sparking curiosity and building foundational skills in STEM through engaging, hands-on experiences for K–12 students. Our camps and educational programs introduce young learners to the exciting world of engineering, encouraging creativity, problem-solving and teamwork while exploring real-world applications.

Engineering Day

November 8, 2025 | 8:30 am – 12:45 pm

Explore Engineering Day at UMSL offers K–12 students a hands-on look into the world of engineering through fun activities, lab tours and interactive demos. It’s a great opportunity to discover STEM in action and meet faculty and students.

Engineering Summer Camp

June 23–27, 2025 | 2026 dates will be announced soon

Over five days, students dive into hands-on projects in civil, electrical, and mechanical engineering, working alongside UMSL faculty and staff. Guest speakers from local industries bring real-world perspectives to the experience. Each day features interactive activities designed to spark curiosity, build skills, and introduce students to college and career pathways in engineering.

A 5-day, in-person engineering summer camp for students in grades 9–12.
