Seminar Programs

SEMINARS FOR THE SPRING SEMESTER 2023 WILL ALL BE CONDUCTED IN PERSON.  Our seminars are open to the public.  

Visiting Speaker Seminar Program (Spring 2023). Seminars are normally held on Mondays at 4:00 - 4:50 pm in Room 103 Benton Hall.  Seminars are attended by faculty, postdocs, graduate students from all divisions and visitors, as well as undergraduate chemistry majors typically in their final semester.

Graduate Student Seminar Program (Spring 2023) Seminars are normally held Fridays at 1:00 pm in Room 428 Benton Hall.

Distinguished Alumni  Lecture) - On May 2, 2022, Dr. Sean D. Dingman, BS 1994, the Senior Technical Service Specialist with OxyChem's isocyanurate business in St. Louis, presented the lecture: "La Chemica Vita".

Robert W. Murray Lecture ( Stadler 104) - On Monday September 26, 2022, Dr. Omar M. Yaghi, James and Neeltje Tretter Professor of Chemistry and Co-Director of the Kavli Energy NanoSciences Institute at the University of California-Berkeley, will present the 23 rd Annual Robert W.
