Big Brothers Big Sisters

 

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Missouri is eager to help UMSL students make a big difference in a Normandy Middle School child’s life.  Big Brothers Big Sisters works to match “Bigs” with a “Little” that has similar interests, so you can build a nurturing, fun and enduring friendship.  Bigs and Littles can do a variety of enjoyable and rewarding activities, including playing sports or games, baking and visiting the park.  No matter which activity you choose, your time, friendship and mentoring will help you be a positive role model for your Little.  To be a successful Big, you must be prepared to commit to a minimum of one year and be willing to meet two to three times per month for four to six hours.
