Banner Wars

Homecoming Kickoff

Homecoming officially begins with our kickoff fair. Enjoy food, games, activities and more. Start off Homecoming week with a fun-filled day and celebrate with UMSL students, faculty and staff.

Outdoor Movie: Brave

Join the Homecoming Committee for a free movie, free snacks, and free fun. Bring your own blanket or lawn chair. Movie will begin at dusk

Blood Drive

When you arrive at the blood drive you will sign in for all of the organizations you are involved in. If you are unable to donate blood you can also donate canned goods. 5 canned goods are equal to one person. There will be a first, second, and third place for the organization which has the greatest number of people donate. BONUS – If a person donates both canned goods and blood they will count as two participants for their organizations.

Almost Midnight Breakfast

Join your fellow Tritons for biscuits with gravy, scrambled eggs, and bacon and sausage at our almost midnight breakfast. Bring your friends and your appetite!

Shopping Cart Parade

All student organizations and campus departments have the opportunity to participate in this quirky take on a campus tradition. Organizations and departments are encouraged to decorate a shopping cart to match the Homecoming theme “Here & Now.” The best organization and department carts win bragging rights for the year! Entry forms are available in the Homecoming Spirit Packet. Entry forms are due Friday, September 28 by 5pm in the Office of Student Life.

Big Man on Campus (BMOC)

Panhellenic Council sponsors their annual Big Man on Campus male talent pageant as part of Homecoming 2012! Cheer on your student organization's contestant as he participates in four pageant categories including active/sportswear, talent, formal attire and Q&A. Big Man on Campus applications are available in the Homecoming Spirit Packet. Applications and entry fees are due Monday, September 24 by 5pm in the Office of Student Life.

Greek vs. Roman Volleyball Tournament

UMSL Greeks (all social Greek-lettered UMSL organizations) take on the UMSL Romans (students not affiliated with a social Greek-letter organization). Whether you are Greek or Roman you are sure to have fun and a great time. Who will take the title of champion? You have to attend to find out.

Homecoming Chili Supper

Immediately following the Greek vs. Roman Volleyball Tournament, make sure to stop by the annual Chili Supper. Come enjoy great chili, yummy toppings and hot dogs. Make plans to attend with friends, classmates, or your family!

Lip Sync Competition

Think you’ve got what it takes to win the Lip Sync competition? Then grab your closest friends or your student organization and start practicing! Entry forms for the Lip Sync competition are included in the Homecoming Spirit Packet. All entry forms and music selections are due Friday, September 28 by 5pm in the Office of Student Life.

Homecoming Tailgate

Gear up for the Homecoming Soccer Games at the annual Homecoming Tailgate. Enjoy free food, music and a chance to win great door prizes including an iPad.
