The National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) was founded on 1902 and is composed of 26 inter/ national women's Greek-letter fraternities.  Each member groups is an autonomous social organization consisting of college women and alumnae. 

Since 1968, sorority life at UMSL has continued to add values to the universities student life experience.  With a focus on leadership development, community service, philanthropy and social awareness, the UMSL College Panhellenic Council will continue to engage, educate further develop collegiate women.

Purpose of NPC: To assist collegiate and alumnae chapters of the NPC member roups to cooperate with colleges and universities and foster interfraternal relationships.

Mission of NPC: The National Panhellenic Conference is the premier advocacy and support organization for the advancement of the sorority experience.
