Nonprofit Management and Leadership Program

We are pleased to announce a new scholarship being established for the Nonprofit Management & Leadership Program at the University of Missouri –St. Louis.  Named for the program’s founder, John McClusky, this endowed scholarship will provide scholarship funds in perpetuity. DONATE NOW Celebrating 20 years at UMSL, the NPML program is a leader in nonprofit education and is the only nonprofit studies program in the St. Louis region recognized by the national Nonprofit Academic Centers Council.
Students enrolled in the program learn how to help nonprofits advance their missions by gaining knowledge and competencies specific to managing, leading, and governing nonprofit and voluntary organizations. This important new scholarship will help to attract and retain these students. After more than 30 years as a pioneer of nonprofit education and promoting nonprofit excellence in a variety of roles, John McClusky retired in 2009 from the University of Missouri-St. Louis as director of the the Nonprofit Management & Leadership Program he founded. Having educated hundreds of nonprofit executives, staff, board members and volunteers in the St. Louis region, throughout the country and internationally, an endowed scholarship in his name seems a fitting tribute. Your gift will help a student continue John McClusky's legacy of equipping nonprofit leaders of today and tomorrow with the most up-to-date skills in managing and leading this vital sector.
