Visiting Speaker Seminar Program (Fall 2014)
Seminars are held on Mondays at 4:00 pm in Room 451 Benton Hall, unless otherwise specified. Refreshments 15 minutes prior to seminar time. Seminars are typically attended by faculty, postdocs, and graduate students from all divisions, as well as undergraduate chemistry majors in their senior year.

Robert W. Murray Lecture - On Monday March 31, 2014, Joanna Aizenberg, Amy Smith Berylson Professor of Materials Science, School of Engineering and Applied Sciences,
Professor of Chemistry and Chemical Biology, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Founding Core Faculty and Platform Leader, Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering,
Director, Kavli Institute for Bionano Science and Technology, Harvard University, will present the Seventeenth Annual Robert W. Murray Lecture.

Distinguished Alumni Lecture On Monday May 5, 2014, Katherine Block, BS 2001 (Summa cum Laude), will present the 27th Annual Distinguished Alumni Lecture.  She received a PhD degree from the University of Arizona in biochemistry and is now a Senior Scientist at the Novartis Clinical Trial Center of Excellence (Genoptix) in San Diego.  She was previously with Beckman Coulter in the greater Los Angeles area.  Details will be forthcoming.
