UMSL’s Tuition Funded Model

Here’s how it works: If your employer offers $5,250 or more per year in tuition assistance, UMSL will cover any remaining tuition—up to 18 undergraduate or 15 graduate credit hours per year. This means that, when you combine your employer benefit with our institutional support, your education may be fully covered as a part-time learner.

Full-Time Undergraduate Students

New full-time freshmen and transfer students (enrolled in 12 or more credit hours per semester) from Edcor-partnered employers may be eligible for a UMSL Scholarship ranging from $2,500 to $6,500 per year, based on GPA.

Please note: If you qualify for a scholarship as a full-time student, it will replace the standard UMSL tuition discount offered through your employer’s partnership. You can still apply your employer’s tuition reimbursement to reduce your out-of-pocket costs, but you may still have a remaining balance.
