Program Overview
The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree program prepares students for the business world with five areas of specialization: finance, international business, management, marketing and supply chain & analytics. UMSL’s business faculty are experts in their field, and are dedicated to providing quality instruction and real-world knowledge. Additionally, BSBA students have extensive opportunities for internships, cooperative education programs and foreign study, including the Missouri/London Internship Program.
All students pursuing business degrees must complete at least than 48 credit hours and no more than 60 credit hours in business within the minimum 120 hour degree program. Of that number, 30 hours are business core courses. The remaining 18 to 30 hours are approved business electives. A minimum 18 credit hours must be 3000 or 4000 level.

Students must maintain campus and Business GPAs of 2.3 or higher when taking Junior and Senior level courses in the College of Business. A minor in Business is also available as a component of the online Bachelor of Liberal Studies.

Of graduates who responded to a 2015 survey conducted by UMSL Career Services, 100% of accounting and 92.5% of all UMSL Business undergraduate alumni had a job or were pursuing a graduate degree within 6 months of graduation.
