Internship Opportunities

The City of O’Fallon, Illinois has an opening for its Administrative Intern position. This is not an internship where you will spend your days running errands and performing data-entry. You will work side-by-side with O’Fallon’s Administration and Leadership Team as you gain real-world experience in a rewarding career field.

Essential duties include:

  • Assists in the City’s marketing and public outreach programs.
  • Performs routine and complex analysis and development of programs for the City of O’Fallon.
  • Works with other departments and leadership to improve workflows for the City of O’Fallon.

The position is best to be paired with on-going schoolwork in local government management. The internship will support your school work and help you complete your degree while gaining experience that will help you in your career.

This position will include ride-alongs and experience in not only management/administration but also in: Public Safety, Parks & Recreation, Public Works, Community Development, and Public Finance.

Compensation is set a $17.00/hour. 20 hours per week.
