How do matching gifts work?
Matching gift programs vary by employer, but the process is usually simple:
- Make your gift to UMSL.
- Search for your employer above to see if your gift is eligible for a match.
- Follow your employer’s instructions to submit a matching gift request.
- Your employer sends its matching contribution to UMSL, increasing the impact of your support.
For example, a $250 gift matched dollar for dollar becomes $500 in support of UMSL students, programs and the areas that matter most to you.
