Wondering how your existing credits will transfer to the University of Missouri‐St. Louis?
To address the question of "How will my credits transfer to UMSL?" We strongly encourage you to submit your application and then request your official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended. Once admitted, you may schedule a meeting with a Transfer Advisor to review your progress towards your degree. If you have questions before applying on this process, please see the contacts below to schedule an appointment:
Education Majors: Transfer Advisors may not be able evaluate education coursework. For this reason, if you have taken education courses other than in conjunction with the AAT program at the community college, it is advised that you contact UMSL College of Education directly at (314) 516-5937 or at oasis@umsl.edu.
International Transcripts: Credit completed outside of the United States cannot be evaluated before application. UMSL Global receives and evaluates international coursework only at the time of application.
A Transfer Guide is a document for students pursuing an associate degree that wants to transfer to UMSL to pursue their bachelor's degree. These guides assist students in planning their degree pathway even before they attend UMSL.
We offer transfer guides for the schools below. If you attend a school not listed, please contact the Office of Admissions for assistance.
Students may use our Course Equivalency Database to determine how their credit may transfer to UMSL. Please be aware that this database is continuously developing as students submit transfer equivalency requests. So, if a course is not listed, it may simply mean that a student has never tried to transfer before with that specific course.
Please contact the Office of Admissions with any questions you may have about the information found on the Course Equivalency Database. If you feel any entry is confusing or incorrect, please contact us for clarification.
Articulation agreements are a legal agreement between two colleges on how courses are transferred between the two schools. These agreements help students transfer easily between the two institutions.
