Advanced Leaders Program
Advanced Leaders is a special topics leadership experience for UMSL students. The program offers students the unique opportunity to explore, discuss, and analyze various professional fields directed by executive officials from various companies, corporations, industries, public service, sports and entertainment, as well as the art community throughout the St. Louis metropolitan region. The program introduces information that a rising leader should possess and considers what those in executive leadership positions should know when planning to choose a career path. During Friday Career Excursions, students get exposure to different philosophies and styles of leadership, which help them become more comfortable with the transition from the classroom to the boardroom. Advanced Leaders takes place only during the fall semester.
