Sponsored Projects

WELCOME

The Office of Research Administration is the central office for managing proposal submissions, contract negotiations, award acceptance, and research compliance and ethics. The ORA assists faculty in obtaining and administering externally funded research grants and contracts and administers internal grant programs.

UM-St. Louis offers two internal award programs for the St. Louis campus, and the University of Missouri System offers one competitive program available to all four campuses. These opportunities provide faculty with research support and the opportunity to obtain experience, which may be helpful in attracting external financial support. They also provide support for small projects for which outside funding is not available. See Funding Opportunities for more information.
